Won't be surprised in the least if BYU is one and done in the NCAA Tournament.
They will have to play next Thursday so that might impact their seeding. They might get pushed down if committee has to pigeon hole them
Yes of course that would help, buts it’s more a matchup thing, and at the end of the day only tournament that truly matters no back to backs.
I bought their hype last year and picked them to make a run then watched them get Duquense'd in Omaha. Not saying I won't pick them win a game ot 2 this year but I'm a lot more skeptical.
Regardless, i'll take 2 days of rest for Tamin and Keshon. Our season didn't end last night.
BYU will be fine in the tournament, few teams can play defense like Houston does, which means they are going to get shots and they will hit a lot of them. I would guess 2nd weekend at least.
Watched 8 minutes of this game. 2 X BYU restriction of movement with 2 hands called. Yesterday = 0. Go figure they started playing with thier hands today.
I'm sure a lot of it has to do with Houstons defense but I just turned on the Houston and BYU game and of course BYU is 3-17 from 3

I don’t really remember the officiating but they shot three times the free throws and were unconscious from 3. Our 3 point D didn’t seem that bad. We dominated the paint and hit a lot more shots… that was an insanely unlucky loss… to add to that Arizona Hail Mary. This season could have looked a lot better right now.
On top of injuries/major illnesses to our entire starting back court and best shooters, who combined play 60% of our minutes.
Not great luck this year.
