Just my .02 but I do like that DT is at a Big12 school rather than Big 10. My hope is that it will bring more parity between the 2 conferences and narrow the gap from a league perspective top to bottom. We’ve all commented on the tv production of the two conferences and overall venue presentation etc. Hopefully that part will get better as well

My prayer is David wins a gold medal at the next Olympics and gets several 1st place medals in competitions leading up to it and wants to be our head coach after 2028. We need some good luck eventually with a coach that wants to be here long term

Currently in the portal? Sure. But don’t forget there’s still legal poaching, and the fact that a guy might have all summer to get a degree and go in.
Part of that sleeping well that was mentioned was probably about Facundo. Guessing the sleep is a little less comfortable. Hope we can land a couple of good guys.
It may give a little parity only that they will be a super power that controls the Big 12 I guess Big 12 championships are awesome, but the real prize is NCAA. We aren't in the position to sniff either anytime soon. Ok State will be Penn State soon and it will be a two team race instead of one I guess. They will be an evil empire. They are Penn State with more money.
Won't stop me from supporting the hell out of our coaching staff that I love, and the athletes, but we are in the minor leagues right now until the correct donor comes around.
