I know what I would've done differently, they're messing around with the weights. Why not just let them wrestle where they are good? For example, MJ and Casey. Casey had to go down to 41 to get hurt. Let them wrestle where they are successful! They are also wrestling the same. Wheres improvement other than "being tough?" Where is the strategy? (Big 12s was not too hot.) All I am saying is I won't be surprised if other guys go in the portal based on the lineup and how things are going, unfortunately.
Couple of things here.

1. It was MJ’s decision to try and go 165. Coach Dresser said as much.

2. I didn’t love the cut down for Casey either, but I can’t fault them for trying to get their best on the mat. One of AE or Casey were going to be sitting had they both stayed 149.

Not sure how you navigate either of those situations differently when one was by wrestlers choice and the other was out of necessity.

3. Improvement? There are a couple of prime examples, Jacob Frost? Riggins? Herrera?

The problem is Swiderski likely wasn't cracking the lineup at his desired weight of 149 based on what we had at the beginning of the year. I think if Swiderski was beating any of Johnson, Ech or Chittum if he wanted 157, he would have went those weights. MJ is probably a little different, seems like maybe 165 is his desired weight as he's a small 174. He went down and got beat out/injured. Guys are going to hit the portal but I don't think it has anything to do with "how things are going".

Casey chose to go down, big difference my friend.

A whole lot of dumb in the rest of your post. Congratulations

Multiple. Including several instances where he wasn't charged. Look, he's not a murderer, a bad dude, or anything. He's just a handful.
He has two “instances” in Ames that weren’t a minor driving violation. One was possession of alcohol and the other was shooting fireworks. Both happened 2 and 3 years ago.

That’s why I hear Swiderski is hitting the portal.

Man...it's been almost 40 years since we've won a natty. Next year's roster with either AJ or both him and Angelo immediately puts us in contention to legitimately challenge PSU....you can't say with a straight face that's not tempting

This is correct, legally. Again, I'm not saying he's a bad egg. He's just a handful.

I hope he stays--I hope they all stay--but the point is that someone or someones are very likely going to leave.
