2024-2025 Wrestling Lineup Projection

Going to have 4 studs at 2 weights with Ech, Paniro, Casey and Chit. I also think the days of Gaitan at 165 have sailed I think he’s growing into a full 174 with his height.
I’d be surprised if MJ didn’t go 174. With some strength and mat time he has AA written all over him.
Personally I think it's the best thing for him. Needs another off season with Turbo to just get his body built up to the 74 caliber. Going to down to 65 for a year would do more harm then good for his future IMHO.
I think the best option would be to have Casey and Chittum redshirt. Ech will be gone after 2025 so come 2026, there should be more spots. Plus by then maybe one of them might fill into 165
MJ has a lot of talent and has already improved a ton. Griffith and Mekhi are gone from 174, and likely Starocci. I see no reason MJ isn’t an AA next year.
Biggest needs are 25 and 97. If Frost can’t get back to 33, that would be the next biggest need. I think we’ll be ok at 65 with either Euton or Rojas.
Casey makes the most sense out of the group to RS imo. He has injuries to recover from and has the frame to continue bulking.

41 - Frost (unsure but think AA potential)
49 - Paniro (high AA)
57 - Ech (high AA) - 49/57 could flip here. Unsure who’s bigger.
65 - Euton/Rojas

Completely agree Ben has done a great job building him up, don’t waste all that time and effort shredding muscle to make him skin and bones

Pretty confident that O’Toole and Hamiti will be 174 next year.
Unless of course, Hamiti wants to go develop somewhere as a 165

We signed Feldkamp at end of May. Need to be patient.
I have no doubt we will be after some transfers. Dresser wants the trophy bad before he retires
The only transfer I really think would be worth it would be Cardenas. I’m open minded but that’s my opinion right now unless someone is coming on the market at 125 but I like Perryman to continue to develop. Hell Tanner Jordan just placed at 125 and Kysen just beat him a week ago.

Cool..I've been wondering all season how that was going to shake out. Then we'd have Casey for 2 more seasons? Covid year stuff screws me up with eligibility.
What will hurt us. Michigan needs a 197 and no one I believe has more money than that collective.
