A New Years Day Bowl is not out of the question, but San Antonio was a tremendous experience and I wouldn’t mind that again either

UNI: Win, we are far past losing to FCS teams.
Iowa: in Ames; they'll be good but lose a ton of talent.
Louisiana Monroe: Win and win big.
At Baylor: Should be a good game, Rhule has them improving.
TCU: Home field should help, being 4-0 would help even more.
At West Virginia: New coach, they also lose Grier, Stills. Potential win
At Texas Tech: New coach....weren't that good anyway. Win
Oklahoma State: See TCU above
Bye week: Perfectly timed
At Oklahoma: This is no longer an automatic loss, but they'll be good again.
Texas: Glad it's in Ames, because they'll be good.
Kansas: Win.....and might have quite a bit riding on these last two based on the previous two.
At Kansas State: Who knows....would rather have them very early in the year.

Really nice going into a season and feeling that we will be legitimately competitive in every single game.

No elite teams in the first 8 games; Iowa, TCU, and OSU at home. November could be a lot of fun...

10-2 seems very possible. Unlikely, but more possible than it’s been in a long time. New coaches at Tech, WVU, and KSU really help.

Getting past Texas and Oklahoma, while not dropping any other winnable games will be tough. Baylor should be good again. Campbell has been flat out beat by Herman the last 2 years, but having the game at home will be a huge help.

Ill tell you what guys, I'm in the mindset that our D will play outstanding again this year and having Purdy for the whole year plus having his experience that I think that will be the difference maker in finally accomplishing what's never been done here. Pretty exciting actually!

Bailey-Lima-Enyi, Rose and Spears, and Eisworth are certainly a damn solid middle of the field to start with. The depth on DL should pay dividends late in games. We will be, at worst, competitive in every single game....and that is the most impressive thing about Campbell compared to where we were when he started.

Purdy brought a different dimension to the offense (which is great) and I hope Hall and Brock are legit, but it's all up the OL and establishing the running game.

In my 10-2 scenario, those are the losses

How much extra time do you guys think Manning will have while he is coaching the running backs?

I'm confident CMC has had and will continue to have his focus on Oline. Manning, some, but selective focus on line. Both understand the line is the key, but they don't have to be directly involved every minute because they have a minny them as the line coach. Myers played for them, assisted them, now position coach for them.
