Pick one stock, etf, or mutual fund you think will have the highest gain in 2016. List ticker and current price.

I'll start it off by being very boring:

VDC 129.69

[h=2]Vanguard Consumer Staples Index Fund ETF Shares[/h]

I think this as well. I have seen some projections to 130+ People hate the Apple hype machine, but as a holder, I hope they keep it up. Easily my best performing stock.

HealthEquity (HQY). Closed yesterday at 26.11. Earlier this year, when the market was doing well before the summer drop, I had a 40% return on it.

Also, can we come back to this thread and who ever chose the highest returning stock get a Clonie award?

Dont ever put a stop market order on an ETF. It cost me 30k last year. Weird rules with these exotics. They can drop in value by 40% and back up in minutes. PJP got me. I had no idea, they are not stocks, no do they act like stocks, they emulate stocks. Someone let me know if I am wrong.

JCP. I dumped mine at 10.50 and today it's 6.50. Thinking of buying back in.

But I also bought 6k of OIL at $10 and now it's 6.50. So my picking ability is suspect.
