I really wish we could get some more people out there. It hurts the attendance and chance to expand the stadium.

I think this year's mini-pack could help things. This year, its the last 3 games, for $99, when the nebraska game alone would set you back $90. I think that could help bring the official numbers up, especially for the MU game.

Hillsides are really cheap ($10) for MU and KU as well, per season ticket renewals. That should help. I really felt the athletic department is doing a lot to make it easier for people to get into JTS this coming fall.

This seems like it is almost too cheap for me - anyone else? I mean, it's not like it's a Louisiana-Lafayette type game, it's a Big XII game. I don't think it'd be unreasonable to charge $15 for those games. Come on, "it ain't intramurals, brother! It's Division I-football!"

I'm still stewing over 2007. I hope we absolutely bludgeon UNI into a bloody pulp. I want the final score to look something like 48-7. That'll shut the ILs up.

I'm with you. That loss has been simmering with me ever since it happened.....I was so angry with Chizik for letting it happen because we had the offensive talent to win that damn game, it was almost a fire-able offense. The defense was atrocious that game (and for the majority of Chizik's tenure).

I do think the UNI game will be our most highly attended game of the season. We've got a chance to have a decent home record this year and great attendance for the season.

Considering that... if the AD is considering doing the south bowl anytime soon, having great attendance numbers to back that up certainly wouldnt hurt.

Yeah, but especially for the MU game, $10 is better than an empty seat. Plus the value of those seats goes farther down the wetter and colder it tends to get as the season goes on. Another reason to at least get the lower bowl done even if it doesnt increase capacity.

That's the BIGGEST reason to get the bowl done, even without increasing capacity. It's November. In Iowa. Would you rather sit in the grass, or a bleacher? I think most people are taking bleachers.

The reason attendance falls off, regardless of performance is because of the hillside.

I would have a much easier time convincing my wife to buy cheap single game end zone bowl seats in October rather than hillside seats. I wanted to go to a game or two last year on the hillside and I was vetoed.

She has a bad back and wouldn't be able to stand the whole game or sit on the ground for that long.
