    Or not many wanted to pay $65/ea for crappy seats and bought others. There must be some UNI fans typically showing up or else ISU fans really care about the UNI game since so many of the highest attended games in Jack Trice history are the UNI game.

    Those types of upsets happen frequently even to "power" teams. Look at the cream of the Big12 in just the Bill Self years. Kansas has lost in the first round as a 3 seed & 4 seed. They've also been the overall #1 seed (WSU wasn't overall #1) and lost in the second round.

    I think it has more to do with 22 wins. Keep in mind Iowa State/UNI are nearly tied in points and Iowa State has 3 more losses. The voters have certainly factored in a difference in schedule. Certainly still up for discussion if enough difference was factored in.
