Is it dumber to ignore facts or accept them?

Guess we know where you fall.

In the game of football to be successful, usually your QB needs to be your best player.
Hopefully Sam is ISU's best player this year.

There are and have been a heck of a lot of RBs and WRs in the NFL whose college QB never made it to the league.

Like the year we beat them 27-10? Oh wait, better ignore that one, it doesn't fit your agenda.

I think the talent difference between the teams is WAY overblown most years, unless I've forgotten all the Iowa State players playing in the NFL right now. I honestly believe they had better players when we lost to them 2 years ago. The best player in that game BY FAR was David Johnson and their O-line was significantly better than ours too.

For the record, I don't think the talent gap between UNI and Iowa is usually that great either, people just can't fathom UNI having talent since they are an FCS school, never mind the fact that they usually have several starters that transferred in from big FBS schools every year.

Iowa has 30+ players currently on NFL rosters. UNI has what, 1, maybe 2? Your opinion on this subject is objectively stupid.

I love it when people like their own posts. It's like that guy that tells a joke that nobody laughs at, then goes up to you five minutes later and says "hey, remember when I told that one joke?"

I was trying to see if it was even possible. You guys sure got me, though. Hope I can recover from this.

I like our chances, but if we lose our best defensive player and best offensive player on the first drive of the game and then quit, we will lose and it will be ugly.

Everyone predicting scores in the 30s and 40s are crazy IMO. I think it's something like 20-17 or 27-20 ISU.
