Funny, remind me where the guy picked ahead of that one was ranked, how many stars he had?

Yeah, but that's 81 percent. What do we make of that, failure to predict or its a pretty good prediction?

I don't know, seriously asking the question. And, I don't care, really, how that applies to us because that's not who we are.

It’s a far reach from reality but of both Premer and Jacobson from Waukee want to commit; are they both a take for ISU?
We didn't get a TE in the '25 class. And if you can get two 4 star caliber guys, hell yes we take both. I'd be happy landing one of the two and then add another TE like Jensen or Sullivan.

I really hope a blue blood school doesn't swoop in and try to poach this kid. It will be an interesting battle for who replaces Rocco in a couple years.

It depends on who he is. Certainly, he's known for some time to where his value might rise. Jett has made a commitment to Iowa State, his future teammates, and the coaches.

Maybe he's more like Rocco, who eschewed millions for $100,000 to stay at ISU. Maybe, like Rocco, he's a leader.

If he jumps later, ok, best to him. But, for some reason, I think he might be a Loyal Son Forever True. We'll see.

The problem with this is, the blue blood school spend their time and NIL money poaching second tier veteran quarterbacks nowadays—see Will Howard and Dillon Gabriel.

*Miami hasn’t yet regained blue blood status, imo. Still poach veteran QB’s.

Perhaps Jett was impressed with the coach who DIDN’T offer him money up front. Maybe he wants a fair shot to start early. That’d be harder to do in a quarterback room full of well-payed mercenaries.

Regarding the 2026 class, it's my understanding that the NLI is no more. Now there is just a financial aid agreement. So is there a signing period? When can our '26 commits actually make it official?

I like your post Valley.
I think some of this comes down to a kids individual situation.

I love Rocco and I think he is a loyal son forever true. But, it helps that his family is very well to do financially.

Some kids come from less affluent backgrounds and may need the money for their family. Hard to be upset with those kids should they choose to leave. I believe CMC has built an excellent culture, but in certain cases that will only go do far.
