If we get turf can it at least be decent. For example Tech’s turf looks like ****. Don’t mind West Virginia’s.

All you guys who say we need field turf are a bunch of cry babies. What didn’t your mom let you play in the sandbox as a kid? She probably always had fresh play-doh for you
I'd be curious what the coaches and players would say while on sodium pentothal.

Haven't read through the thread. Has their been discussion on what the kids prefer to play on? Seems best recruits would come from high schools with turf fields. I personally love the look of a natural grass field. But looks ain't gonna win ya titles.

Back to back home games for a combined 121 points. Is that a school record?

Brock had a slip once that probably cost us a first down. Peterson had a slip that almost allowed TCU to get a first down.

How many times did TCU slip? How many times would Brock have slipped on turf?

Saying artificial is better than natural is one thing, but why does everyone act like having natural turf is a disadvantage to us? Both teams are playing on the same field, no? If one team has had 5 other games to get used to the surface, would that not be an ADVANTAGE over a team (like Texas) who played most games on artificial?

I don't get the argument..

I went back only to 1960, and briskly, so this is highly unofficial...

Only 3 other back to back home wins with at least 100 points before today.

2002 -- 103 -- Kansas, Tennessee Tech.
1986 -- 100 -- Indiana State, Wichita State.
1980 -- 100 -- Colorado State, Kansas State.

It seems dumb to discuss it right now. Nothing can be done until the end of the season.

The field seemed to hold up pretty good today.
