I’m not convinced that Bartelt won’t be our starter at 184 eventually next year.
Yes he’s still recovering and loses valuable time this summer but he will be good once healthy.
Totally possible. I don't think anyone should assume Dean wins that wrestle off.

They have never been 3-4 deep at literally every spot. They have room guys like everyone else.
Doubt we have the additional resources to bring one of those guys in let alone multiple.

“Literally” never said they were 3-4 deep at every weight, but typically you see a lot of names from the top programs in opens and as back up options in duals. Penn state being the top program, they get the headlines and top spot on TV. Just found it a little surprising I didn’t recognize a lot of names at all.
So it closes on Friday, when does it open back up or is this the only window for athletes to move?
I think we saw last year that the portal never truly "closes"
if the portal only outlines when coaches can "talk to" or "connect with" an athlete, then the portal might as well become nonexistent
It's basically just a legal contact period with coaches. After the portal closes guys can still enroll elsewhere but it's illegal if the coaches have contact. So they just use the athletes to communicate. NCAA athletes are free agents every year
Bingo. NCAA's every year is now like a big annual job fair.
