I give Tamin some credit, he's got the guts to keep shooting when everyone else is afraid to do anything. Not falling for him, but it still takes some courage to try.
This. Heise is scared to even look at the hoop.

Unfortunately, the 3pt line most likely isn't going to get us back in the game (and even worse, KU knows it). They're gonna crash the lane like KSU did whenever we drive. No team threat from 3 when CuJo can't even hit one.

Losing one player doesn’t turn a top 5 basketball team into a dumpster fire, there’s something else going on we don’t know about.

Right now they are missing shots. That’s what is happening. I’m sure TJ is coaching them to drive the hoop based on cold outside shooting. If someone starts hitting shots they will feed them.

I love TJ, he’s done unreal things here and not gonna say anything bad but offensively he really struggles at times getting our guys in a position to be successful
I don’t think it’s all on him. We have guys that like to play hero ball, which causes the ball to stick too much.

Coach can have them run set plays until the cows come home, but they have to execute at the level required. Feels like there isn’t much camaraderie or teamwork right now

Stop blaming the refs! We have 19 points because we can’t make a shot whether it’s a 3 or a layup or tip-in. Our offense is broken.
Refs haven’t been great but also not bad. Very much letting both teams be physical. Absolutely not the reason why we can’t shoot for ****.

I’m never for hurting anybody in a game. However, I do agree that you need to make some physical plays through the contact and force them to make a call.

I’m not saying that you go try and hurt a player. But play 80’s NBA style basketball. Run through screens, make them earn every layup attempt at the line, this sort of thing. Exaggerate the contact until the refs decide they need to get the game back in control.

This team cannot win a game that they’re going to allow physical play. No different than we saw in Morgantown. If the refs swallow the whistle, we cannot score.

You folks calling our players names is BUIIshit. Grow up or turn in your ISU fan card.

Criticize sure, calling them direct / derogatory names that would get your non-anonymous weak ass beat to a ******* bloody pulp by every one of those young men out there is never acceptable.

Knock it off!
Sorry Nate

Tamin, hit on the arm, no call. Every contested missed shot by Kansas they are bailed out by a foul. Is that the difference, no! But come one now! Tell me when we have gotten that call at home or anywhere???
Considering KU has a whopping 6 pts at the line, I’m going to say this he KU getting bailed out a lot as not having an an impact on the game.

Let’s try to run a play once and see what happens?

KU's been awfully tight on defense too and there's nothing comfortable about the way ISU is shooting.

Need Jefferson to get going somehow but even he's on an island if not other 4/5s can get even a decent look.

Don’t blame TJ. Blame Nate Schmidt. He’s the so called offensive guru for the staff.

Seems like you've found a neat strawman to attack. I don't see anyone blaming the refs

If I am a head coach, time to play our two Freshman in JT Rock and Nojus, wasn’t Rock known for his shooting in high school maybe it could help spread out the offense ?
how could it hurt at this point? someone at SOME POINT has to uncork the offense again. We are probably loosing this game big either way.

7 to 4 on turnovers in favor of ISU
Boards even

The bad

ISU 2-6 from the line
1-12 from 3
8-34 from the floor.
.

Given what the did at WV I don't predict a bounce back in 3 point shooting. Hoping I am wrong
