So given that I certainly can see why some would have flashbacks to some awful games.

We have a team that can win there, but no conference road game is easy.

I'm sorry but what has happened in 2011 and previous has no relevance to this years team.

But if it makes you feel better about a ****** team we already destroyed then go ahead and worry.

I wonder if ISU's intensity would have been better today if TJ gave some of the deep bench guys some minutes. Watson in particular, we're going to need him at times in conference play. Why wouldn't you give him 10 minutes in a game like this one? I don't get it.
The non-rotation guys didn't even get in at the end. I guess no lead is safe so we need Lipsey and Jones out there up 25 with 3 minutes left.

Until the metrics stop rewarding running it up, its not going to happen...
If there's one thing about TJ that really irritates me it's this. He's playing with fire leaving guys like Lipsey out there in garbage time.

Those guys at the end of the bench work their tails off too so it has to be demoralizing to not even get in against a terrible MEAC team.

Be irritated then. We have the 3rd ranked team in the country, trying to get continuity with our main guys the game before conference play, and a pretty damn long layoff. The more minutes these main guys get the better for down the road. That is what matters. Stop complaining about whether our end of the bench guys get in the damn game. If TJ isn’t playing then it’s for a damn reason. Good god.

Knew this would come out eventually.

Maybe just roll Lipsey around in a wheelchair and don't let him practice since injuries can happen there too.

It's a message board; people are going to opine on stuff like this. And it's their right to do so. And it's part of what the board is for.
We understand that but it’s the same stuff over and over again. I get criticism when it’s warranted but stuff like getting to the end of the bench is continuous on here. We have one of the best teams in the country, who is also breaking in quite a few new guys. Shouldn’t that take precedence over getting bench guys mop up duty? Especially when we have a big break coming and minutes together for guys that will actually be playing matter immensely.

Lol, we have one of the best teams and one of the best coaches in the country. You're sitting here, whining that the guys that aren't good enough to crack the current rotation should be getting minutes just because we are up by 25? We played a very bad team and gave up 72 points yesterday. Maybe the focus should be on tightening up the defense instead of playing guys like Rock, Watson, Fish, etc. with 4 minutes left in the game.

False, in case you haven't noticed we now play 20 conference games instead of 18. It's a grind and the fresher the main 6 guys stay until March the better.

I dont understand the logic of they need minutes together to work out things against Morgan St.

So wait until conference play to work on consistency and the things TJ has said aren't going well during the last couple of games?

No it's not, it's 2, 3 games tops in the buy-in games against the MEAC and SWAC that I've been complaining.

You honestly think anybody will care that Fish isn't getting PT against Big 12 competition?

Sorry, but I don't think it's too much to ask to see what we have in guys like JT Rock for 5 or 6 minutes a couple times per season.
