When we had Breece he was in about that percentage as well so this coaching staff is not opposed to that. I’d venture to guess, and I’m sure as a former player you know, Hanson being injured doesn’t allow him to stay in and be effective at even close to that clip.

Like I said before if he is to hurt to play a whole game then sit him out. But he looks pretty healthy when he is trucking people and running for TDs

What, with the players/talent available, should they be doing?

Do you think ISU is more talented than the teams they're playing?

Brings to mind one of my favorite Big Johnsonisms: “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard, but you’re ****** if the talent works hard.”

We put in a 3 man front years ago in the middle of the season (well, game 4 I think) to get our best players (LBs) on the field. We played the rest of the year like we've been playing it for years.

Why don't we try to revisit history and go to a 4 man front? Our LBs aren't the strength this year.

I’d rather have him for any mount of time the way he’s playing then wait for him to be totally healthy and not have him for any plays.

ISU has somewhat above average players and somewhat above average coaching. The law of averages always comes around.

I see where you’re going, but then Nebraska should also still be amazing. OK State and Utah should also probably be best in the conference this year. I still think Campbell deserves credit for a job well done overall. Not saying someone else couldn’t have done better…but he’s pretty good.
We are definitely punching well above our weight this year. Wit all the injuries to D and our OLine still sucking ass, we are in a better spot than we should have been. I’m not giving up on this team. I’ve always said, enjoy the ride. We’ve had a couple bumps, but what the hell, we could be Nebraska.

I'd say tonight is a good example of that.

KU has been weird but Daniels is a talent as is Neal and their receivers.

I think their lines are also underrated.

If they're synched up they're better.

I’m not unaware of that. It’s the craziness of people calling him out for being so great and amazing and so good all the time that’s the worrying thing.
Call me crazy, but I'd put him at #4 on the all time isu QB list already behind Purdy, Seneca, and Sage in that order. He's not improved over what he was at the end of last season, so I guess if he has a knock...
