Love our players and coaches but won't at the Jack for the last two home games. 2 seats at the 50 for the last two home games. PM me if interested.

Three plays lost us that game:
1. Rocco missing Stevo Klotz in the end zone cost us 4 points
2. The time management at the end of the half cost us a chance at 4 points
3. Rocco’s pick six cost us 7 points.
We lost by 9
Defense giving up pass plays of
70 yards
32 yards
22 yards
24 yards
62 yards

On various TD drives cost us as much of what you listed. 200 yards of passing chunk plays

You don't give up those chunk plays and expect to win

Anyone not upset and not saying negative **** should be ******* banned. Horrible performances. There was nothing about today that can be turned into a positive.
Say what? I called it three weeks ago that Kansas would be a tough game. I got laughed at. We've been playing with house money for several weeks. You can't lose your entire linebacking core and expect to run the table. I think way too many people get way too excited about a 7-0 start, even though we hadn't really played anybody yet.

We were expected to be middle of the pack, and we've overachieved. Be happy about that. Don't be a jerk, these kids are trying hard, they're just outmanned at this point.

Same damn nonsense after nine years. Obviously Campbell isn’t self-motivated enough to adjust and make changes. So I guess the fanbase can keep showing up, keep traveling (better than any other school), keep spending their hard earned money while saying “Thank you sir, may I have another?” Or they can put a little heat on the program. If Campbell can’t take it then he isn’t a big time coach.

Wow, dude. Campbell not self-motivated? Time to sleep it off.

Consistency is like his only flaw. Most college QBs, minus the elite like first round draft pick types suffer from inconsistency.

I’m not unaware of that. It’s the craziness of people calling him out for being so great and amazing and so good all the time that’s the worrying thing.

I’m still not willing to pile on Campbell. He’s our best coach ever. We only have two losing records under him. Seeing that we almost never went to a bowl game before he came, he’s been an enormous success.

Have we ever played Vanderbilt? It would be very ISU if we played them in a bowl and lost to give them a 10 win season.
Home and home in the 1980s. Vanderbilt is actually the ONLY SEC team (the year they played) to play @ Iowa State. Split the series with each home team winning.

There was a list like this after the game last week. When you make too many mistakes against a team of similar caliber you often end up losing...

Being happy with 6-7 wins is certainly a valid philosophy. But there is no impetus for improvement with this program. If there was, we wouldn’t see the same stubborn bad decisions repeated endlessly. If you’re happy with what you see then you’ll be happy for a long time, but you’ll also never see anything truly special.

So, you’re OK with what you saw tonight? Come on.

Rates of making bowl games are a terrible measure of success, as the environment around bowl games has changed a ton over time.
