I feel like we got the C game out of our system and will be dialed in this week.

That said, I'm ALWAYS nervous.

Man I'm just not really having that this year.

Obviously I'd like to see what they can do but for me after 7 wins it's all icing, much like bball making the tourney.

Anything new on the injury front? Hoping the bye week has done wonders.
I'm guessing the bye will help a little. Most of our injuries seem to be season enders, or a few guys that could maybe be back for a bowl game/playoff.

The weather looks increasingly wet for the game. Everyone got their rain gear ready to go?

My only concern is Rocco's accuracy. I wonder if it was injury/discomfort related the couple games he was off. Ball could be wet this Saturday as well. This seems like a game where WR's will be open all day. If Rocco misses on 2 or 3 would-be TD's again then this will be a close game.

Likewise, I'm always nervous or maybe anxious, about an upcoming game.

My questions about my #2, the UCF game.
A. Was that just a bad game by us?
B. Did we get exposed, are we vulnerable now that game tape is out there?
It was a bad game. Not to concerned with Texas Tech as much as I am with the Kansas game. Rocco was off on some easy throws, receivers dropped some easy catches. Rocco's 2 pick sixes were the difference in the game. That is a game we loose 8/10 times. As long as we protect the ball and take points when we can (field goals) we can play with pretty much anyone.
Or biggest problem is mobile QB. For some reason we can not keep them contained. If we don't get healthy in the LB area, Daniels will have a hay day on us. Kansas is playing really good ball now.
Having said that. We CANNOT overlook Texas Tech.

UCF defense was worn out on that last drive. No blitzes/prevent defense saved us.
96-59 total plays. ISU
37:28 - 22:32 TOP. ISU
28-14 first downs. ISU
They had a 1 play scoring drive, a 0 play scoring drive, and a 1 play drive in 2Q . A 2 play scoring drive in 3Q, A 1 play scoring drive in 4Q. Their defense did not have much recovery time. ISU also ran a lot of tempo offense (playing catch up).
UCF defense was rope-a-doped.
