Baylor player did lower himself bracing for the hit and there was no helmet to helmet contact, should be no targeting.
He's not wrong. We do have a bad habit of it.
"I appreciate that." -Dave ArandaFWIW - Aranda is a weirdo.
There’s not much a guy can do many targeting calls except defy physics. It’s the dumbest rule in all of sports.
Honestly as poorly as he’s played I see very little comment on him at all. What is up with everyone bagging on Rocco? He threw one bad pass, and the INT was bad but definitely Noel’s fault.
The end to that half gave me strong 2006 Iowa game vibes. Knew exactly what was going to happen when McCarney threw away the last drive of the first half. Not good.
Did you watch it? He was overthrown by 4 yardsWRONG! That was all on Noel people…. he just stopped on his route.
Not hit the receiver on the head/neck area. What was Tampa supposed to do on that play exactly?
It is per the rule. It's a very flawed rule that the NCAA has no interest in improving.Baylor player did lower himself bracing for the hit and there was no helmet to helmet contact, should be no targeting.
99.9% of the time I would agree.Iowa State up 17-6 at half and get the ball to start the second half. I’d take that every time for a big 12 road game
Falling down after heading to side line was the best.Baylor player did lower himself bracing for the hit and there was no helmet to helmet contact, should be no targeting.
watching the game but sinked it up with john and ericJFC these announcers are straight trash … just shut the **** up already.
FWIW - Aranda is a weirdo.
It reminds me of plenty of times we've given up a drive to end the half and gone on to win!
99.9% of the time I would agree.
This is a case though where they were DEAD. And we , at least momentarily, gave them life. That's a dangerous thing to do in sports.
Will it cost us? I don't know. But its dangerous to let someone who you've been dominating up off the ground and give them a sliver of hope, which is what they have now. If we go 3 and out turn it over quick, that hope grows.
We need a great first 5 minutes
In a monsoon. What is up with everyone bagging on Rocco? He threw one bad pass, and the INT was bad but definitely Noel’s fault.
