Two straight off seasons of talking about a possible iowa product coming our way anyone? A la Tucker DeVries?
Drake is adding a couple PFs, I'm guessing we see a Niang body transformation next year. They have the bodies in place to be really good next year. Enright at point, Calhoun and Djamgouz at wings with Devries, add a couple PF plus Brodie has another year of eligibility and Ferguson will be back.

Great thing about their roster this year was we they went to their bench they sped up tempo with Enright, Calhoun and Ferguson.

This off-season I hope the staff aims higher. Holmes and Osun were best case scenarios last year but yesterday made it clear what can happen when you have a lot of mid-major talent. We need real P6 talent and SHOOTING.
They aimed high last year targeting AJ Green who’s now making 3s in the NBA, but hey just didn’t hit

Calhoun isn’t coming back

Left the team at mid season
So played fall 2021 at ttu. Sat out spring 2022 at drake. Played all 2022-23 season at Drake.
D2, juco, free shoes U, 8 games at Tech and a year at Drake. Interesting bio but one more year isn't out of the question.

Last night the commentators mentioned a guy playing for Memphis was 26.

I haven't followed thus thread a ton (and maybe it's been talked about) but apparently the Ivy isn't allowing covid waivers so there should be decent players to look at there.
Yep. They also don't do grad transfers. It'll be a decent pipeline to keep an eye on

People said the same thing last year. I’ll believe it when I see it. Need to find a couple guys that can get to the rim along with two reliable shooters.
Chris and Stanz basically indicate we're never going to get a top tier transfer due to hard to compete with NIL's (example: McCuller/Shannon) but that we have to strike fortunate with the next good tier transfer. (example Holmes, etc.). So while it may be an anxious/exciting offseason, not counting on chickens that aren't hatched.

Adding AJ' shooting and Jerimiah Williams to this years team completes the roster and probably ends with 3-4 more wins? Both cases were the staff's plan for this year until May when AJ decided to go pro late and then JW got injured in the summer not allowing for the staff to find replacements. TJ knows he needs better shooters and I am confident ISU have some next year.

I was impressed with them too.

I would much rather retain Hassan Ward than take Lampkin. Ward showed over the last few weeks he probably deserved a lot more playing time this season.
But the problem is...we have so many of the same type guy. Jones/Watson/Ward....no offensive threats. Might even throw in Tre although I hope he can impact with an offensive game more next year. He seems like he has more potential in there!
