Anyone know why the 3d glasses I had fromseeing Bolt in the theater didn't work? Are they still at a point where not all 3d formats are the same?

Not sure how that works. The normal ones are red/blue, but I used the purple/blue ones lastnight. I should go back and check the red/blue ones we have.

It was really weak, the only thing I really saw it strongly on was the paddle-ball scene at the start of the commercial.

Really? I saw A LOT more depth in the trailer. it came alive, if you will. Now the SoBo commercial was really neat to watch in 3D.

Of course I had three glasses on. My normal specs, the 3D glasses and my beer goggles.

mine from My Bloody Valentine didnt work either. the paddle ball kind of did but nothing to right home about. i was wondering the same thing but just wrote it off as a different form of 3d glasses.

meanwhile, i highly recommend my bloody valentine. plot is okay but the 3d effects really make the movie.

Different type of 3D. You had to have the colored glasses that they handed out in stores. They are just now starting to market 3D ready TVs which will be able to handle 3D format that was used in MBV.

I personally thought the depth was pretty good. I haven't seen much 3D though, so I don't really have any sort of point of reference.

I have the polar express too. I'll try those glasses tonight.
