I did some research and the last 25 years of men's basketball (starting in 1984-85 and including this year so far), we are 74-180 on the road in men's basketball. That averages out to 2.96 wins a year on the road and 7.2 losses per year on the road. If I went back even further I'm sure our record would be much worse because by 1984-85 Johnny had the program rolling a little bit. I did not post this to defend McDermott, I just thought it was interesting. To break it down by coaches in this time frame: Johnny Orr (29-76 .27 winning %) Tim Floyd (15-24 .38 winning % ) Larry Eustachy ( 30-33 .48 winning %) Wayne Morgan (8-23 .26 winning %) Greg McDermott (6-24 .20 winning %).

I have no idea because I am too lazy to do that much research but I would guess that it does not stack up very well against other Big 12 teams.

I think winning on the road is super hard... regardless of who you are. Duke got beat by Wake. Kansas almost got beat by Nebraska. Just hard to win on the road infront of 10000000 angry vicious fans.

Johnny's teams were know for winning at home and losing on the road. I would take winning at home, at this point.
I agree, we cannot continue to drop 3-5 games at home each season and expect to make the NCAA tournament. We must take care of business at home.

I just want to win.

Maybe we'll shock the nation and beat OU.
