5,095 … that enough to talk to the CEO?I'm getting pretty big time with my Casey's points. Maybe I can call HQ and throw my weight around and see about getting you one.

Kum & Go in Polk City pumps are really sloooow.Pumps didn’t work today. Tried filling up before the auction and only the 10% would work and I cleaned out my pickup and sorted a couple things and managed to almost get two gallons in that time.
I stopped at a gas station in Kiester, MN once. I managed to get a quarter gallon out of one pump and like 3/4 out of another before giving up. Apparently the pumps were older and when it got cold they slowed down hard. A Jordanian immigrant family had taken it over. They had like two cases of pop in the cooler, looked like they cooked a tombstone pizza and put it in the warmer but had a huge supply of anything tobacco and more porn mags and movies than I ever imagined existed.Kum & Go in Polk City pumps are really sloooow.
I usually just get "do you want your receipt?"It's funny the customer service training these different companies provide.
Chick-fil-A: "My pleasure"Kwik Star: "See you next time"McDonalds: "Welcome back to McDonalds. May I take your order."Casey's: "Next."
Those are rookie numbers. You gotta get those numbers up.5,095 … that enough to talk to the CEO?
Agree. I broke 26,000 before I started cashing in. Have to use the cash in 30 days or you lose it though so gotta do like $10 at a time. Those are rookie numbers. You gotta get those numbers up.

No, I have have 3 kids and a wife driving. Throw in one is a teenage son (eats non stop) and this is the only show in town (pretty much literally) and you accrue points fast.Man you are dedicated to Caseys. Does that buy you a large pizza and Cheesy breadsticks, and a 2 liter of Caseys Cola?
Yea, it’s mostly that I prefer Subway over Casey’s sandwhich shop and there are already two Casey’s in the north Ames area (Stange and Gilbert corner). Also they offer 91 octane which Casey’s doesn’t have.Is that the one with the car wash by DQ?
You hope they have guys with sharp pencils figuring all that out? LOL. They're not expanding like crazy by not knowing what works.I think the Kwik Stars are nice, but I wonder how they're able to pay their overhead. The places are huge, and the inventory has to be significantly more than Casey's. If they have more employees at higher wages, that's more expense. I hope they have guys with sharp pencils figuring all that out. I don't have any complaints about our local Casey's other than their card readers weren't working at the pumps for a while.
We are just heading home usually. If we wanted subs, we would do subway, and have. The convenience side is what pushed us away.Yea, it’s mostly that I prefer Subway over Casey’s sandwhich shop and there are already two Casey’s in the north Ames area (Stange and Gilbert corner). Other names I use:Came and Went? Squirt and Split?
$2.25 for a pop that costs you 35 cents is a nice mark up. Pay that HSer behind the counter 12.50/hour and no benefits and you are rolling in it. Dont even have to make coffee just pour beans into those things. You hope they have guys with sharp pencils figuring all that out? LOL. They're not expanding like crazy by not knowing what works.
I mean, look at K&G's new HQ downtown Des Moines, that thing had to cost a fortune. Convenience stores have to be bringing in all sorts of cash.
A lot to be said with not having to retrain workers too. I guarantee turnover in CStores is high and if you can hold onto the good ones, do it.Casey's hires bodies. Places like Kwik Star hire people looking for a possible career. They pay a higher starting rate, offer better benefits and provide career advancement. They also reinvest in their stores. Way too many Casey's have been allowed to remain in the 80s/90s since a remodel.
I know Kwik Star owns their dairy. They sell a lot of it.$2.25 for a pop that costs you 35 cents is a nice mark up. Pay that HSer behind the counter 12.50/hour and no benefits and you are rolling in it. Dont even have to make coffee just pour beans into those things.
I’d likely give away my immortal soul for a Kwik Star in SW Michigan. I’d also love it if they weee public and I could buy stock.Casey's hires bodies. Then they’d start expanding way too fast and we’d have to start a new thread of how kwik star is really going down hillI’d likely give away my immortal soul for a Kwik Star in SW Michigan. I’d also love it if they weee public and I could buy stock.
