Feels like Matt is trying to give Manning time to figure out how to be an OC, Tom just isn't getting it though.

I would set your dvr on fire on the off chance you might put it on on accident.
So I should be grateful I didn’t see the game? I’m legitimately starting to feel this way. It’s like I can pretend it didn’t happen because I didn’t burn my eyes with it.

Not an easy one to watch. Lots of mistakes. D played well. Not much else went right. Super frustrating game.

I may just pack it in if this is what I can expect to watch. It wasn't fun.

We finally get a QB who can throw 60 yards sitting on his ass cheeks and we can’t stop calling 4 yard crossing routes on 3rd and 7
I'm still up in the air on Dekkers arm. Going into the season I thought Dekkers had an absolute cannon. Although the past couple weeks he's thrown a lot of very soft 10-20 yard throws I would've expected him to zip in there. Not sure if he's lost some sauce with all that weight loss or if he's just trying to show some touch.

What does yeet mean? I feel like yeet has a synonym in orgasm.

He’s got a very strong arm , but hasn’t shown the other intangibles yet to be a consistently good qb. Seems everyone was so desperate to get rid of Purdys arm strength they prematurely anointed Dekkers. I thought numerous times today where Purdy would of stepped up and ran for a first down when Dekkers was sacked. He’s still young so expecting improvement, but worried right now.

Some quick Google searches show the QB sneak success rate is around 90% but some of those are from 2 yards out. The Bills are 23 of 24 over the last 2 seasons. I can almost guarantee you Dekkers would pick up the 1 foot he needed there at least 23 of 24 times. Dekkers picked up a solid 2 yards on his sneak earlier in the game. Baby steps I guess. It was great to see him sneak it there. When's the last time Campbell tried to sneak it?

You guys are missing the point. ISU's offense is elite at moving the ball, but we don't score TDs in the red zone. We are 21-7 against P5 in last 6 years in games decided by 2+ scores. But we are abysmal in games decided by 1 score. Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater. Campbell needs to fix ST as that's responsible for 1/2 of our close losses. Campbell also needs to hire an analytics guy so they can make better decisions in key situations like today's end of game decision.
Disagree that ISU is elite at moving the ball. Barely over 300 yards and 4.0 ypp against this D is BAD.

WVU went for over 500 and 6.6 against them.

Still can't believe the O-line performance we tossed out there today. KU's D-line might be the worst in the conference and they had no trouble getting to Dekkers from anywhere on the field. 26 rushing yards. Good grief.

I think I would have gone fishing or camping or something more productive if I had to choose looking back at the hours of 2:30-5:30 today.

My 73 year old mother, who sits on the couch reading while my dad watches the games, asked me, direct quote, "if they need to get to the yellow line why do they keep throwing behind the line?"

My mother who doesn't know a snow ball from a softball noticed this.

ISU's ball control eats up the clock so there are fewer possessions. Look Manning had us in the Top 20 in offensive efficiency each of the last 3 seasons. He should not be fired. That is crazy talk. Need to fix ST and hire an analytics guy. I do think Manning has lots of room for improvement in the red zone and short yardage situations. An analytics guy would help tremendously.

Sounds like the game is Clark. It’s his fault for scoring there. He doesn’t then we don’t try that last FG.

To counter this: KU got leaky at times, but I thought their D played like they had something to prove today. They had an edge to their approach, were relentless in coming after Dekkers and their secondary was physical.

ISU certainly didn't help with their performance but I think KU at least makes many other teams uncomfortable on this specific day.
