I don't agree at all. We dominated the game, but we don't score TDs when we get in the red zone. We also don't make good play calls or decisions when it's 3rd and short or 4th and short. We are also constantly playing from behind in the 2nd half.

You don’t touch anyone on defense. Those guys are a machine.

So that means you have to drop an offensive assistant to make room. Who do you replace?
Obviously you need an OC, Manning or someone else.
Not dropping Scheelhaase or Mouser.
Probably need a QB coach, so not Gordon.
That just leaves Myers and my preference would be to have a dedicated OL coach.

You can’t target X 19 times, there are other players on the field also. Jaylen was non existent the second half except for one pass to him.

I feel sad for Myers. You don't put a grad assistant with no coaching experience into one of the most important assistant positions on a P5 staff. This is totally on Campbell, and it should have been corrected at least 4 years ago. The Manning situation should have been corrected shortly after that.

I don’t think people realize how big of a screw up this was. Especially when you have a HC who is averse to making coaching changes. There were a lot of posters on here who were taken aback by the move. And rightfully so.

It's fine. At least you weren't pumping a new "wide-open" offense during the offseason the way some folks here were.

Is it really even worth the energy to start this thread. Neither of these things will happen unless Campbell is somewhere else next year. Haven’t we learned by now it’s Campbells show and he’s going to love and die with his people . A lot of dying recently.

My hope is he has a moment like he did against Iowa in year 2, where this just isn't working and something has to change.

X has been running shallow crossers all year. Teams are scouting it well now.
