If that ESPN ranking is correct Connor has to be one of the most overrated players since the rankings started. He can’t be a top 300 in that high school class. One of the most limited offensive players you will ever see for the amount of PT he’s gotten. Maybe this contributed to Joe T leaving. Any chance to lose minutes again to the coach’s asshat son would be a non-starter.
It's quite an indictment of the defensive quality on Iowa and in the Big10. No wonder Murray was able to stuff the stat book the way he did.

I was talking with a Hawk friend about Iowa’s plan this offseason for the portal as their name has only been linked to that stud center. He said they wouldn’t be surprised if they just rolled out Bowen at the 1 but they are going to need a 5 and a 4 still. He says he wouldn’t be surprised if a random guy or two announced they committed.
Wow, serious ? Seniority definitely helps in today's game. Put Rebraca with PMcCaf + Murray, and that is a decent front court... Notice I said front-court, don't anybody freak out and go, "but it's a guard game".
They will have decent scoring....and as it looks today (April 2022), they will be favored to beat us in Carver this Dec. Of course, it looked that way this time last year too
5 & 4 ? Are you counting Murray and PMac as 3s ? Rebraca played pretty much at 5 for them last year.
They’re interchangeable at the 3/4 but they don’t have a single guy on the bench right now that is a true 4. He says they may just punt there though because Connor has the ability to play that spot. 5 position is needed though. Rebraca and Mulvey are the only two “posts” on the team.
