Why, because Kene averaged 29 as a senior, instead of 26?Pump the brakes on the bolded.

Because I think only someone blinded by their fandom would claim Kene was in the running of the best return man in college football. He was really good. But let’s pump the brakes. Why, because Kene averaged 29 as a senior, instead of 26?

How many non ISU coaches or media called him the best returner in college football? Why? When given a crease he flipped some big time field position in huge games.
Time to pony up
The NFL is weird but glad that we are not the victim this time around. People that always get drafted ahead of ISU players leaves me shaking my head. I stopped watching the draft but glad we have a Cyclone get some respect. I wish Bailey would have been drafted because a lot of clowns that got drafted don’t even half the numbers he put up playing against good teams. There was a player from uni that got drafted and I’m like screw this. You look at Lazard and you would think these teams would start to respecting ISU, useless.Wild that he went ahead of chuba Hubbard. Good for him!
Why do you think it requires people calling someone one of the best in order for them to be one of the best? How many non ISU coaches or media called him the best returner in college football?
You guys can’t be serious. There are plenty of return men that flipped field position when given a crease.
Lol, ok. I’m gonna bow out. I’m not going to get an honest discussion here and I’m not going to waste the space taking away from Kene. Why do you think it requires people calling someone one of the best in order for them to be one of the best?
There are clearly people who are referred to as impressive for one reason or another who...aren’t. Or did you miss the ISU-Texas broadcast on ESPN last fall?
Good move. Pro tip: when an Iowa State player gets drafted that should be celebrated. Especially given our history in the draft.Lol, ok. I’m gonna bow out. I’m not going to get an honest discussion here and I’m not going to waste the space taking away from Kene.
I don’t think anyone is not celebrating him getting drafted. It says a lot for the guy that he essentially was a career backup and still was talented enough and worked hard enough to make himself valuable enough to justify a fourth round pick on him.Good move. Luckily that's changing rapidly with Matt Campbell, and next year will be absolutely gangbusters. We COULD have like 6 guys drafted next season.

I think you could pretty well argue one of the top. Definitely could not argue he’s the best. Here’s your “honest discussion”. Is 11th in the country “one of the best”, especially when it includes guys at lower than P5 levels?
I’ll leave it at that. Kene is good.

Or a huge rwach?1 round later than Montgomery and before Hubbard. Thats crazy awesome.
I have more respect for Kene than that. I looked it up to ensure I spelled it correktly. You want @qwerty to spell his last name wrong? ;-)
