Anyone else hearing that JP has already decided Prohm is coming back?

You're leaving out one theory, CF staff KNOWS it's Fred and has been sworn to secrecy, everything they say is a diversion. We gotta cover all of our bases.

If its TJ, as long as he has a guy like Lutz on staff that can help with the X's and O's then I think he'll succeed here. He's recruited well here, and has been on winning and losing staffs here so he knows what it takes to win here. He's not my first choice, but if he's the guy I'll support him.

Agree, being at ISU prior..at least he knows some of the skeletons in the closet and can effectively mitigate. And keeping Hunter would be huge!
He was recruiting guys to play for Hoiberg now he would be recruiting guys to play for him. Big difference. Especially in a league stacked with quality coaches.
His good relationship with Jamie is actually a positive too. I don't imagine he would get much pressure from the top if he were the next coach here. I hate when AD's/Pres try to micro manage every detail.

Pollard wants someone that he can completely control, and TJ is that guy.
So why did we hire Prohm in the first place? Prohm sucks at the X’s and O’s.

Steve Leath forced the hiring of someone other than TJ. Prohm was the second choice. Bryce Drew was the first offer. He turned us down.
People forget that Ejim was a McDermott recruit.
He recruited Brackins, #30 overall in the nation per 247, to come to Iowa State during the McDoormat era. I think he'll be fine.
