I normally can't stand remakes, reboots and all that because they are usually never any good. And a lot of times it kinda ruins the original(s) for me, at least somewhat. Hollywood is out of original ideas. It's all reboots, remakes, bio-pics and super hero/comic book movies and that's pretty much it. I always get bummed out when I see that something I love is getting a remake or a reboot. Example: A few years ago I saw that Ed Helms was going to play Frank Drebin in a Naked Gun remake. That is the worst idea ever. Whoever keeps putting Helms in movies should not be allowed to work in the entertainment industry. My left ball is a batter actor than that pile of spamloaf. And there should be a list of movies and TV shows that should not be allowed to be remade or rebooted. Take a look at the Lethal Weapon TV series. It's garbage!

Anyways, enough ranting.....

When I saw the original trailer for Cobra Kai, I could tell it was going to kick ass. I had to idea it was going to kick even more ass that I expected. Honestly I think it is the best TV series of all time. NO MERCY!!!!! It' gonna be cool to see Elisabeth Shue in season 3.

My 8 year old just discovered it and now both of us are binge watching it to get caught up. This is a very good show, I’m pleasantly surprised.

I binged the entire first two seasons over the weekend after having watched the first couple episodes on YouTube when it debuted. To understand how much I have gushed about this you'd have to YouTube Kevin Smith's interview with the cast at Comic Con and watch him gush and just spew about how great it is.

Cobra Kai could not have been done any better, imo. For literally decades it's been a running joke among many of us that Johnny Lawrence was indeed the real victim of The Karate Kid. Daniel LaRusso STOLE HIS GIRLFRIEND AND BEAT HIM WITH AN ILLEGAL KICK! They way they've written that into this new series is absolutely brilliant.

It just never let up. Never stopped being great.

We just watched both seasons a month or two ago. I liked Karate Kid as much as the next 80's kid, but I really loved this show.

Then again, I've always been in the anti-Daniel camp. Kid deserved to get his face kicked in most of the time.

Lots' of rumors she is going to be on season 3
Based on her character accepting Johnny's FB friend request I'd say it's a certainty. What I heard was not to expect her to stick around for multiple episodes...maybe one and done. But I can't even remember what internet outlet reported that. And really, how do you say "no" to this Cobra Kai sensation?

I hit the random select feature on Netflix and Kobra Kai popped up. I never expected that I would like it, but I knocked out the two season in a few weeks. It was great. I didn't have much of an opinion on Karate Kid growing up, so I was legit surprised that I liked it. Maybe the low expectations helped.

Like others have stated, I really like how they present the Karate Kid story line from Johnny's perspective. I'm also impressed with both of the actors being able to carry the lead roles. They've both have had fairly tempered careers as adult actors but were able to make this work.

William Zabka does such a good job in this series, lol.

I remember as a kid watching National Lampoon's European vacation (several years after watching Karate Kid) and thinking he was so soft in thar (after only knowing him as the ultimate a-hole in KK).

As others have stated, this series exploring his perspective is great...and for Daniel.....i chuckle at him winning an under 18 karate tournament held at a community college on a Saturday afternoon propelling him to greater LA success as an adult, lol.

Binged all Season 3 yesterday (no spoilers). Solid season, really took some things to the next level in terms of nuggets from the past integrated into current season. And, there for sure will be a season 4.

He was also the ultimate bully in Just One Of The Guys. Which, if you ahven't seen or don't remember is an absolute classic 80's teen movie.
