Conditt and Solomon look slow and not very athletic. Conditt's body hasn't really changed much. Still looks and plays weak. Might as well see what Foster can do.

Yeah, I agree that they look about the same so far and look forward to seeing Foster. My understanding is that he had missed some time or something and was a bit behind the others so far. I like the way Solo fights on D and rotates to help side but he'll never be a rim protector. Conditt did change some shots in his first shift.

Nope I caught it. But just trying to bring some perspective and sanity to a group that thinks the sky is falling.

From an ISU basketball perspective the sky falling seems to accurately describe the situation.

To the armchair QB's who've already declared this team and its coach horrible, get a grip. Did you really think this team was going to start out hitting on all cylinders? With the injuries and the youth on this roster, it's gonna take a while before they start clicking.

I like the athleticism, the versatility, and the 3 point shooting of our freshmen. I think we could be pretty decent on the defensive end. Should be fun to see how much they get better as the season progresses.

One doesn’t normally need to be hitting on all cylinders to beat Arkansas Pine Bluff.

No one expected that, but it's already the same old tired stuff that marks a Prohm team.
Sure, there may be some improvement along the way, but more talented teams with much better coaching will also be improving.

CSP certainly benefited from the Mayors recruits in year 1 & 2. Then had a mess to figure out. Seemed to get it together in year 4. THT and Haliburton may have left early, but by years 5 and 6 its on the coach to make sure we don't take 2+ years off from the tourney. This game is not a good look for CSP long term contract status.

Probably a few too many attempts for my liking. You’d think touches for Solo and Conditt would be easy against Ark Pine Bluff.
All that said. Your down three and missed a ton of shots. Make few of those and your probably up 6-9 and we’re not having such heartburn.

We’re not even halfway into the first game and people are calling for prohm’s job. This is ridiculous. They haven’t played well but we knew there would be bumps and bruises coming into the season. People need to give this team time. Look- a ranked Ohio state team is tied with Umass-Lowell with 5 minutes left in that game. 10th ranked Kentucky is only up 2 on Richmond with 3 minutes left in their half. There will be parody this year and we will not go unscathed but the sky is not falling. Just buckle up and enjoy the fact that we actually get to watch basketball with all the things going on.

Let's not forget how the FB team opened up the year. This has been the weirdest of all off-seasons -- give them all some time.

Way to premature. We are 20 minutes into our first game against freaking UAPB. Let’s relax a little bit. Bolton is the most talented guard on the team right now.

Comparing a close Kentucky game where they were only a 7 pt favorite to Iowa State losing to one of the worst teams in CBB at halftime as a 33 pt favorite is lack of awareness.

The football team opened by losing to a good team who is 8-1 and ranked in the top 25. The basketball team is losing to another sub 300 team like Florida A&M last year

Anytime we want to start playing good defense I will be ready for it. We’ve see it once or twice in the last year. 53% shooting to #353 in Kenpom isn’t good defense.
