In isolation I don’t think this game in itself is the biggest win. It’s when you add everything else to it, such as first place, a trip to the title game, winning when the lights are shining brightest on you, etc - that’s why this is the biggest win in ISU history.

Not ashamed to share that I cried some tears of joy after the FG miss.

I started shaking with about 8 minutes to go. I started screaming when the field goal went wide!!

The difference in this season and so many others that were (woulda coulda shoulda) is winning more close games than losing. Look at our wins and the loss vs. okie state. ISU won 75% of the close ones.

Pretty much this. UT actually was a little better and had more yards per attempt on passing and yards per run rushing. They seemed like the better team out there (even only slightly). They were marginally better than us in those categories, but ISU made the plays when it counted, won the turnover battle and UT made a mistake or two that hurt. We've been on the other side of games like this, so it's awesome to be on the winning side.

Eh...I saw a really evenly matched game, one where we made a ton of mistakes. The teams are really even, it was a really really physical game too.

Texas still definitely has more size, speed, and talent but not half the heart of this team. That being said, talent gap is as narrow as I've seen.
