Iowa played a great game and beat the #3 team in the country.. Good for them.. Football fans across the country are relieved that we don't have to watch another horrible BCS championship game with an overrated Big11 team.

No, but according to CFN, we might have to watch PSU get rolled by USC in the Rose Bowl while Bama pummels OSU in the Sugar Bowl. Please, say it ain't so!

Iowa fans that post comments on the rag.com articles are the lowest forms of life, period. This guy is a shining example of that. I find it hilarious that even on the articles that are 100% about Iowa, they still have to drag ISU into the comments.

Speak for yourself. I want Iowa to lose every game, I don't care if they're preventing Penn State from going to the title game. Yes, it would've been a disgrace to see PSU in the title game, much like Ohio State in the recent past, but I do enjoy watching the other team mop up the field with a little 11 team.

At least we don't have a guarantee now that the NC game will be another Big 11 joke. Their conference sucks and in no way deserves two BCS teams. Good win by iowa against an overated team. Congrats. But it's just like their classy fans to have to put down ISU after their win. Not surprising. Their self-worth just got inflated, so now they have to try to find people to look down on. And you wonder why people dislike those low-lifes?

That guy is the same guy that will go nuts and call for Ferentz & O'Keefe's heads if they lose to Purdue this weekend. Last years loss to Central Michigan is fresh in the minds of Iowa fans as a handful of them have already mentioned it today at work hoping this coming weekend isnt like the CMU game last year.

Yes, everyone was cheering for Iowa to beat Penn State on Saturday (even the BCS). As a loyal Cyclone fan I was pulling for the Hawks as well & this was a good game to mark on their win list this year.

However, as Ben Bruns mentioned on the radio on Saturday, Iowa beat the #65 team in the country based on Sagrian ratings (which is based on strength of schedule).

One of these days the Cyclones under Coach Chizik are going to be able to pull some upsets like this as well in the years to come. We need to be patient & let the coaching staff build & bring in the quality players we need to move this program to the next level.

The comments in the DM Reg. by this so-called Hawk fan about the Cyclones is absurd. Keep drinking the Kool-aid Hawk fan.
