I think you would limit sites rented out rather than people per site. If you had so much space between campgrounds, I think that would do more to limit spread than the other way arpudn

Yeah that's a better option, easier to monitor too. Big group sites might need to be shut down though.

I'm hoping to be able to yakpack some time this summer which would be a sites that are very far from each other on islands so hopefully that's opened up a bit.

Also, people might start trying to bake it out of themselves since it was asked if we can just use UV lights through the skin.

The doctors at these briefings must be bewildered.

I think they know what they’ve gotten themselves into.

now, I’m sure they’re just incredulous at some of the blatant stupidity that comes out of certain people’s mouths, and realize the danger that people follow so blindly, But they know what they signed up for.

I just hope that there aren’t any of the more deranged followers that think that eliminating them will eliminate the problem.

Info on the company that the $26M no-bid contract was awarded to:

Per my understanding those questions are on the Iowa assessment as well - and the contract with the company specifically mentions hydroxychloroquine as a "treatment" for positive tests.

So the point of this TestIowa site is what again?

This company seems a bit shady. I read yesterday that they never performed the amount of tests in Utah that they said they would.

they told us an additional 3000 per day. I would expect our number of tested people to start jumping dramatically.

and I’m guessing it’s not a record number because they’ve dramatically increased testing.

it hits home for me because someone tested positive that works with my 70 year old dad in black hawk county.

It's really difficult to tell from the state's website. Testing has went up, but percentages positive are all over the place.

It hasn’t gone up much. Yesterday they were still under 30,000 tested.

This is clearly an appropriate time for a no bid contract. Whether it is a good product or worth the money is maybe up for question but the no bid aspect is not.

Looks like we are up to #20 in cases / pop now (~#35 in deaths / pop)
Deaths and hospitalizations is much more meaningful for comparisons sake. There is no consistency in testing programs from state to state.

Tested 2711. Hasn't the average been around 1,000 per day, or maybe slightly more? Sounds like it was more mass testing of meat plants.

Hopefully the mass testing continues.
