Jeez. Ranked 9. Been in the playoffs. An incredible run of conference championships and this is what can be pulled from Twitter??

https://soonerswire.usatoday.com/20...acted-to-oklahomas-42-41-win-over-iowa-state/

wtf one of them said bench Hurts?! LOL

Also LOL at so many OU fans leaving in the 4th. Fans STILL disrespect ISU.

My heart goes out to the players this season. Four losses so far by a combined 11 points. It’s just not fair that a team with such absolute great attitude and persistence and talent will not get the rewards and recognition they DESERVE.

I just want to puke when I see our record and Baylor’s. This is the ****** world we live in, though.

So, you are willing to trust an ISU kicker to make a clutch FG to win or tie the game? You have a lot more faith than I do.

Truth, we would have been going for it on 4th down or risk losing by 3 if we trailed by a FG in OT. Hell, I was not even sure about making the extra point kick if we elected to go for the tie rather than try the 2-point conversion.

Super impressed with the comeback.

Annoyed at some of the play calling----the game would have been played different if we got a TD when we had the first and goal down 14 and got nothing, but you've got to ******* score there and there was terrible plays called. The trick **** didn't work all night, why did they try it so many times? It seems like we weren't running Breese much late.

It seems odd that the least penalized team suddenly gets lots of penalties.

And I don't care if it makes me sore loser, the 2 points should have easily been PI.

That reminded me so much of the movie Friday Night Lights. We get down big to the bigger, faster, **** talking program, and we almost pull off a big comeback, only to lose in heartbreaking fashion. All that was missing was an abusive, alcoholic, Tim McGraw embracing a player afterwards.

Lmao coming from you cat. That’s rich. You’re the worst poster on this site. You must live such a sad life.

no, I’m actually an Iowa State fan. The idea that you hate the world so much that you would rather see the coaches lose, than Iowa state win, is really ******* stupid.

and you and knownothing and Malone are easily the very bottom of the food chain.

after 9 games you can really break the season down to about 12 plays that made the record what it is.

sadly brock recovering the fumble against uni is the only one that went in our favor.

This team feels like its record should be better than 5-4

Yep. It can be a fine line between mediocrity and breakout season.

This reminds me a little of 2005. I think overall this year's team is better than '05's with a more difficult schedule. But closeness of the losses plus level of expectation, has an "almost" feel to it. Good thing is, still 3 games remain and 8-4 (plus bowl) still possible. Let's get over the hump.

I'm pretty confident we will beat Texas. K-State is the biggest scare left IMO.

This team seems more 'complete' with better depth and talent at the skill positions. It's unfortunate they've let things slip this way. The thin line between like 7-2 and 5-4 is tough to take.

Lol what? Why would I ever want Iowa State to lose? I graduated there with 2 degrees and have been a season ticket holder for 10+ years.

You truly are a loser.

Anyway, I’m done with this conversation. Talking to you is like talking to a child. Just goes in a circle.

Have a nice day.

I'm more confident vs. UT compared to KSU by a slim margin, if nothing else at least we have home-field edge. Texas beat KSU, but KSU beat OU (both those wins were home games).

Both will be a challenge.The possibilities - 2-0, 1-1, 0-2 -- are almost equally in play.

IMHO KState in the Little Apple will be a heckava lot harder to win than Texas and Kansas at JTS.....It would be a tremendous season to win the last three games to end our season......and remember GO Cyclones!

What.

Purdy is good from time to time but Heisman?? Hell no. Compare him to Burrow. Not even close.

Best WR is who? ISU? No. Jerry Jeudy or CD Rom. Shenault. Not anyone from ISU.

lol. People actually disagree with this. I love our players but I know better than to think we have the best WR the country. Anyone who thinks otherwise has never watched Jeudy play.

When did you become an Oklahoma fan? Because he was talking about Hurts throwing to possibly the best receiver in the country, CeeDee Lamb.
