Can't watch and it's good he's pointing out the facts.

Is he also still condemning actions if they did occur? He needs to up front about that too...otherwise Hokdom will stick with the narrative that JP isn't supportive.

So the band forced their way into a crowd of people, in an exit that they were told not to use, instigating shoving in the crowd, then complained about that to the media.

yep that was the damning detail
march out the exit your told to
their arrogance put the band members at risk

Where they love the governor
Allegations:
-Beer thrown on person
-Something thrown at the football team's bus after the game, nobody present
-Iowa Band director had verbal altercation with facilities personnel on exiting the field
-Member of Iowa band tried to get into ISU locker room
-Member of the Iowa band carrying a ladder had broken ribs due to shoving while existing (other band member pushed into them)

Its comical how Pollard is just blaming the victims here. Iowa not leaving the right exit doesn't condone the actions of the Cyclone fans.

He didn't blame anyone. He laid out the FACTS which is something Iowa has yet to do and Pollard and the ISU Police are basically begging them to provide some details so they can investigate and take action but so far no one has come forward so their hands are tied. In no way did he blame Iowa, in fact he admitted something probably happened but without anyone coming forward with reports and details so they can do all they can to find out. In fact Pollard just laid out the 5 complaints and said he does approve of that behavior but no one has come forward yet to file a report on any of them.

Well according to the police the victims appear to be the crowd that the band tried to aggressively force its way through

Watching both the police officer and pollard speaking, it sounds like the TOE band was completely obnoxious ( captain obvious) because :
1.) They were told to use the northeast exit because there were over a thousand fans slowly exiting, shoulder to shoulder, at the narrow northwest exit where the construction is. The northeast exit was not crowded.
2.) The band decided to use the northwest exit anyway despite the conditions of #1 above.
3.) The band was marching in formation and PLAYING their fight song into the crowd; moving faster than the people exiting. The were moving right into the backs of people trying to leave.

#3 is what get me. Extremely RUDE of the opposing team to continue to march and play through a crowd that obviously cannot move out of the way at that location! Doing that alone was a recipe for disaster. This whole thing is a **** show by Iowa.

EDIT: Proud how JP is NOT going to let the sewage of a PR job at the TOE drag ISU's reputation through it.
