Coaches need to find a way to Re-al on the field the rest of the year. Looks like the best Athlete on the team.
That even predates old Clyde Williams Field which is of WWI era.
Full Disclosure: I was NOT at that game.
Not really. Led with his helmet and hit the opponents helmet, and further it was a completely unnecessary hit as the player was already down. I'd say it's the dumbest targeting penalty, not the weakest targeting call.

We have talent. Need to put them in spots to make plays.
Even as a decoy. Even to create a spent timeout from the other team early in the game. Even if only to create doubt in the other team's players that their coaches don't know exactly what is coming from us.....psych warfare. This is coaching in the "margins".
As the backup QB he is one play away from starting. Maybe once in a while but not too much. He's too important. With the QB talent coming in next year I could see it.
I want to see more Sunbelt schools on the schedule and less UNI going forward. Cupcakes are tasty!
