I'm all for trying to win in the margins against OU or Texas, but damn it was refreshing to take a lesser opponent out behind the woodshed. Also fun to see some of the backups showcase the skills. We should do this again sometime soon.

The promising thing is that this was a team who’s play style is similar to what we’ll see in conference play (obviously no where near the same talent level) so it was good seeing what we can do against a team that plays the way our team has been built to play against.
We’ve gotta get that quarterback scramble figured out on defense, though, or teams like Baylor and Oklahoma are just going to eat us alive.
Baylor game has been the one I’ve been most worried about since the preseason.
