I recently watch a show on the Discovery channel that the Mayans predicted the world would end in Dec. 2012. I think this would be the final straw.

Who knows. Western Illinois and Western Kentucky may be national powers by then...

2013 your senior year of high school?

Well, obviously it's way too early to know anything, but if Chizik gets us to where we want to be, that's going to be a good schedule to have. Still a LONG way to go yet.

I love all of the home games earlier in the year when the weather is nice. (6 home games before Oct. 20th.)

Tulsa right now has the best offense in the nation. 52 ppg. Hopefully the cool off in a few years.

What's up with 6 of the first 8 games at home.

It's because we have a stretch of three road games later in the season. That stretch will suck, but on the bright side we will be able to get recruits in for visits during the early part of the year when it isn't so cold.

I hope Western Kentucky brings their mascot. Here it is. Seriously.

that is a schedule that sets up perfectly to run the table if a few things happen:

1. Gene continues to recruit some serious talent (see LJ, Ter'ran, Sed, Darius Darks, Ernest Ferguson, Hayworth Hicks, Haugton, etc.)

2. We get a different Offensive Coordinator. MacFarland is adequate but to go to the next level

3. Jerome Tiller doesnt lose the redshirt this year because if he does end up keeping the RS then he would be a senior then and one of the best QB's around

I wish the Big 12 offices would switch the North and South rotation for once. It's annoying having these years without Oklahoma and Texas where everyone thinks it'll just be a fluke due to a weak schedule. And the years where we have both Oklahoma and Texas, it makes it that much harder. Time to alternate these years to mix it up a bit.

And hey, why don't you schedule these south teams to come up in the dead of winter???

I've been wondering that same thing for quite some time. That rotation is just stupid and never making big 12 south teams come play up here in the winter just shows how much they favor the south and especially Texas schools in this conference. It's called home field advantage for a reason. We have to go down and play in heat we're not used to, why shouldn't they have to come up here and play in cold they're not used to?

This is a good subject to get my mind off the game we shall not mention.

Of course if we can run the table the year before, we will be in the national title game for sure.
