btw, no cousin yet. Working on it though.......I'm concerned it's going to be a sucky process for the parents (mostly mom). They tried to start things late morning and no progress as of like 7pm. Which sucks because normally they'll do something like that in the late PM so mom can sleep overnight. I think because her dr was off yesterday, maybe that's why. Oy. And a solid month + of baby in hospital time predicted. Can't even imagine. They were woefully underprepared for a typical arrival........this is a whole new ballgame.

It's unreal. 'how do they change so fast?'

It's amazing.

Today alone it seems he learned how to follow when we point and got himself from sitting to standing (unaided) once - after working on it for one day. Mind you, it was a super awkward launch from sit to stand and very brief but still, so much change, every day.

Holding little man's hand today I was struck by how much bigger it is compared to when he was born.

So disappointed I could not find a gif of this inflating hands scene.

Well that will stress test them and their insurance both.

Waiting for 2015's earthquake update. Just had another one as I was watching the Dodgers game. Foul pole was swaying and cameras shaking. 7.1 but 120 miles from Dodger Stadium.

Announcer went all Carole King with "I feel the earth move under my feet." Gotta give him some kudos. :)

I had asked what their insurance "year" is and it's Jan-Dec. They've long since blown through anything they had to pay which is good, I suppose. She had emergency eye surgery a couple months back due to preg related complications plus a number of other extra appts and such. And yeah......definitely be a stress test for them. Probably wasn't the most solid foundation to be doing this on.

Just looked at the rhubarb stalks in the frig took a minute to convince myself that starting a baking project at 10:45 p.m. isn't maybe a smart move.

Have I mentioned I am bored and restless as hell tonight? Cabin fever summer version, rain and gloom no sun days instead of snow, cold and dark all of the time as the reason.

Raining in Rochester. Again.

Luckily we aren't the ones in the flash flood warning for a change.

Ferk learned tonight that the person I cover for is now setting up extra work for me on the weekends. Beginning to dislike this new person more and more.

Go for it, I just started washing some clothes and need to be on the road at 5 tomorrow. Taking fat bike with hoping to get some riding time in.

On a brighter note I did finally get my yard mowed after three rain delays. Still haven't been able to lower the deck back down but it's not windrowed yet.

Just stalled and dumping rain west of you though. No bad for Rochester but your western neighbor communities do not need more damn rain.

After hearing Boxster's weather report visited Noaa radar. Hopefully rain is far enough north and east that I won't be wading in knee deep mud tomorrow. Furk I hate mud.

Not exactly sure.
Today has not went badly yet. Just got out of going to wife's HS class reunion. Don't have to listen to her male classmates talk about HS football or who they slept with. It's that day every five years that I just dread, around people I have nothing in common with (because they are still in HS mentally) and eat a meal that isn't that great. Yeah, me.

BTW, who goes to their class reunions? I went to my fifth and that was it.
