I thought it was good. When Sansa declared the north independent, I wonder why the other kingdoms didn't claim independence.

Also, what's the purpose of the nights watch now?

I don't think there is a purpose, but Grey Worm doesn't know that. It looked like there isn't even a nights watch, just Jon. I'm thinking they sentenced him to nights watch (wink, wink) to pacify Greyworm knowing he would just go live with the Wildlings. He didn't really have a home down south anyway.

Had the season delivered I think I would have thought this ending better. Episode 3 was the peak for me. The happily ever afterish ending was just not what I wanted but I guess I had my hopes up too high. Was hoping for something on par with the red wedding.

Actually, that's another one of my complaints - if the North is independent, what right does the Six Kingdoms have to send people to the Wall - a wall that is no longer necessary, for the record.
