It'd still be a story because he told him right before a final. I'm sorry that's a **** thing to do.
If kids were allowed to be eligible immediately there would be 5632 kids transfer every year and it would be a poop show. You think the Blue Bloods have a leg up now that rule would kill everyone else.
Oh good, another Fred thread
This will fix that.. Kansas State sucks.
And? I guess I don't see the difference between telling him during finals week and telling him the week before, or the week after.
Sounds like a good kid but not a good fit for what Hoiberg wants to do:

I saw they have two scholarships left to give, including this one, and in a different article, want to get a big B1G bruiser at center, that they need this for the B1G style of play (quoting Lutz I think on this).
Heiman, at 6-foot-11, 215 pounds, and maybe not a great 3-point shooter, is probably not what they want there.
Only football players count as athletes at Nebraska.
Who's this Frank Holmberg guy?
Stewert Mandel Posted:
One hour before Brady Heiman’s accounting final — his last test of the semester — the 6-foot-11 freshman met with Fred Hoiberg in his office. “He asked me to not return. So I thanked him and then put my name in the (transfer) portal.”
Not sure, but is he related to Jeff Prohm?
Not sure, but is he related to Jeff Prom?
FIFYNo, he is related to Scott Prom.

I don't mind more Fred threads as long as they are to point out that Fred is an A Hole, Fred is a D Bag, Fred is a traitor. Comes back to NCAA ball as head coach only 200 miles from Ames to compete directly against us for recruits. He has cut his ISU ties 100% as far as I am concerned.
