And? I guess I don't see the difference between telling him during finals week and telling him the week before, or the week after.

Telling a kid an hour before his final is pretty callous. At least for me finals were a fairly stressful time.

I saw they have two scholarships left to give, including this one, and in a different article, want to get a big B1G bruiser at center, that they need this for the B1G style of play (quoting Lutz I think on this).

Heiman, at 6-foot-11, 215 pounds, and maybe not a great 3-point shooter, is probably not what they want there.

I don't mind more Fred threads as long as they are to point out that Fred is an A Hole, Fred is a D Bag, Fred is a traitor. Comes back to NCAA ball as head coach only 200 miles from Ames to compete directly against us for recruits. He has cut his ISU ties 100% as far as I am concerned.
