Sad to see and every fan base has a percentage of idiots and jerks.

I almost expected that at the end of the email the change would be they are being charged as premium season seats (with obstructed view disclaimer). Brilliant!

I hope things improve this year. It is sad to read about ISU fans and behavior like that. For those in the end zone, I wish for improvement for you.

End zone seats suck. Had them for many years. Get upper level sideline if you follow the game. Who cares if people follow the the game in the club if you pay the money to do it. They are not there for the game just the atmosphere.

People actually thought they had "their" spots in the club? So we have mafia folks and/or teenagers as Sukup Club members?

I am sure the AC is nice in early September and the heat is nice in November.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), the inside of the club is very comfortable, especially for the November games. Lots of folks simply come to the club dressed with no intention of ever going outside to their seats (or even watching the game for some of them). Like a previous poster said...watch the game on the Jumbo or one of the many TV's...no need for potential conflict that the highbacks brought to the games. I view it as a good action by Jamie.

Maybe post a few signs stating that views of the field may be obstructed by standing fans...

it isn't about following the game in the club. its the behavior of some that follow the game in the club that is the problem.

I have never been in the club, but it sounds like the floor of the club is at about the same level as the top row of the outdoor seating. If so, that is unfortunate. They could have built the club at any level they wanted with a ramp out to the outdoor seating level to improve views of the field even if people in their seats were standing up.

To counter people being jackasses the stadium should have been built differently?

I missed a lot of recess in elementary school because one kid was a jackass. Never understood why punishing the 95% of non-offenders made sense.

I'd rather they kick out the jackwagons causing the problems, but I can see why they're doing this.

The unfortunate thing is the offenders in this situation will never come and defend their behavior. I would love for one of the accused to come and explain why they think the way they act is appropriate.

Wow...having never been in the club, I didn't know that sort of thing was happening. Eye opening that we have fans like that.

Really? Every team has fans. Fans are people. People are ********. Ipso facto every teams has fans like that.

The Club needs a few bouncers. Kick anyone out when they do dumb stuff. Simple.

A few notifications sent by mail/email, a few signs about "living up to our reputation of being the best fans", and a few "bouncers" would be my solution. The jackwagons are not going change their behavior because of this letter. They are still going to have to be told to move after they take their perches. And then, they are going to say, "where's the sign saying I can't sit here?"

So, a letter has been sent. I would expect a few more that are more like "10 Ways to Make Sure that Everyone Enjoys the Sukup Club." And I'll bet they have a few signs in place for the first game. However, I still think they will need to address the jackwagons individually, preferably in advance, not during the game. However, if bouncers are needed, maybe get a few former players, just like the bars. If you are going to get bounced, at least it was by a letterwinner.

There won't be perches. The rail and the chairs are going away.

I’ve not been inside, but why wouldn’t they action the seats or sell them at a higher rate? They could still allow areas where people could stand. If the demand is there...

Or auction by quarter? Maybe have a little platform that gets them up above the riff-raff outside.
