I honestly have thought that repeatedly, but there is something to say about having them come off the bench. We are bringing in two potential all big 12 players off the bench. That can kill other teams.

Yeah something to consider is how hard it is for opponents to have the team they're playing be better when they sub out.

Wiggs had more minutes than THT tonight and Lard gave a good 14 being a burst of energy.

When I saw that Lard only played 14 minutes, I was shocked. He was so effective while on the floor, I figured he had played at least 20. Not sure about his conditioning - but there was no rust - he didn't look like he had been out 2.5 games. We didn't play a great game today, but I was encouraged that we have now finished two games in a row!!

Red Auerbach was the originator of the 6th man. His logic was to have one of his best players come in after the game settles into a rhythm. It gives energy to your team, and it puts the other team at a disadvantage as a result.

Here in San Antonio, Manu Ginobili will be in the hall of fame as a 6th man.

We're second in the conference to K-State, but only because of the head to head loss. What a crazy year it already is.

They lost to TT but wouldn't they have a game/seed up on ISU if the Big 12 tournament started today?

I don’t know how tie breakers work, but: K State lost to Tech, Tech lost to ISU and ISU lost to KState. If Kansas has only played one of those teams and it was a loss to ISU, then I think it would be a 3 way tie, but I don’t know how it would rank when the top 3 tied have each lost to just one of the other top 3 teams with different losses for each. Does it go to the ranking of their next loss? Overall record?
