My personal opinion is this is dumb. CW said it was Solo's decision but no one is going to convince me Prohm didn't push him to it.
Why? Solomon has been getting spot minutes at best. If he's not quite there yet, it makes sense as even if he was 100%, there's not a lot of post minutes to go around.
Because a 75% Solo (with Lard out) is better than what MJ has been giving us (in the Big 12). You don't save players for future years, you play them now.
So you burn a year for the game or two that Lard is out, for a third guy in the post rotation?
