When Conditt entered the lineup before/instead of Solo, I figured it was an injury situation. Didn't expect season-ending.

Conditt was one of the few bright spots.

This is good for Young. He’s had so many injuries that he could use a year to develop his game. He’ll surprise people with his overall skill when he returns.

Conditt did show some great signs of rising to his potential though. Very happy with the effort from George.

It's a medical since he played a couple games so needs NCAA approval. But he had surgery and hasn't had a regular redshirt so it's pretty much an automatic as it's still a 5 to play 4.

Why? Solomon has been getting spot minutes at best. If he's not quite there yet, it makes sense as even if he was 100%, there's not a lot of post minutes to go around.

Because a 75% Solo (with Lard out) is better than what MJ has been giving us (in the Big 12). You don't save players for future years, you play them now.

I think Solo would have helped a lot today, so essentially you threw away today's game.

Yes. These games matter. You have to coach for the game today not games next year or the year after.
