Off topic, but good trivia - Who is the only player to win the Heisman Trophy while playing for a team with a losing record?

Should have won would be Troy Davis. Everybody knew what was coming and still couldn't stop him.

Yeah. Not exactly breaking news, but it's up to Lebron. If he's already mentally gone from Cleveland then maybe he coasts tonight and Golden State wins by 20+. I just don't think he'll check out like that. I expect him to go down fighting, but we'll see. Here's an interesting question - is Lebron the Finals MVP despite being on the losing side?

I thought he should have won it in 2015 despite being on the losing side, but not this year. Durant should repeat.

If LeBron didn't win it the year he averages ~40 a game then it won't happen anytime soon.

If it's 2-1 Cavs right now, sure.

I hope the Warriors blow the Cavs out by 30+.

How can it be satisfying for him to go to a team that he knows doesn't need him to win a championship? I've never understood it.

That's pretty easy, actually. He looks down at his finger and sees a large, gaudy ring there that wouldn't have been there otherwise, and realizes his legacy of not being an all-time great that didn't win a championship is secure.

The Warriors have more talent top to bottom than the Cavs do but this is a blow to LeBron's claim as better than Jordan as the GOAT. LeBron has appeared in more Finals than MJ but MJ still won against teams that had more talent than the Bulls did.

Such as?

I'll entertain that maybe - MAYBE - the 1993 Knicks team was "more talented" than the Bulls team. The 1993 Suns team was not. There isn't another team that is even in the conversation.

And keep in mind the 1994 Bulls team without Jordan still won 55 games and was a 3-seed in the East.

MJ didn’t play against any teams that had 4 NBA all stars on them either like LeBron has to while having 0 on his team other than himself.

Welp GSW made that look easy. Now the hard part is keeping it all together with salary caps, egos and all that stuff.
