I'm itching for some good news on this kid and all I find is a nonsensical argument about whether an anonymous ISU fan (no offense Cade) who is just quoting an article is going to ruin our chances with a high school kid.

It would be a huge get IMO and I truly think Florida or not that he is ours to lose.

No offense taken. I think everyone in this thread is just on edge a little bit because we all know how important Tyler Harris is to this 2018 class and for the future. Of all the recruits, it seems as if we are in the best spot with Harris. He seems like the recruit we have the best chances of landing and a miss would really hurt.

I will give you an update on Tyler Harris. VIP info. Staff thinks they are in really good position with Harris and I would call them the favorite right now. He will take an official to ISU for sure.
He did have a great showing recently and could pick up a few more offers and in recruiting, things are always fluid and there are a lot of moving parts so things could change. But right now ISU is the favorite. Now pay me $10!

Most over-used statement in recruiting.

My opinion on Twitter is this. It's Ok to follow a recruit. Even Tweet stuff like "Good luck with your decision, good luck". Otherwise you look like an idiot trying to recruit them yourself. If Thompson just wrote that, it's fine. Don't think acting like the "poor ISU" is the route to go.

Posting restricted information from another site here is theft. Laugh about it, sure. It is still theft.

It might be against the other forum's rules, but theft?

I'd like to see what law sharing information is breaking to constitute theft. It's not a copyrighted work. You can't copyright an idea. Quotes and general information cannot be protected as intellectual property. How is this theft?

I'm thinking that the information was the product of an individual's effort in his workplace, information which is offered exclusively to subscribers of that business. If information, not available yet elsewhere, was taken from that business and distributed, seems like theft to me.

Legally theft? Hell, I don't know. OK, rather than theft, I'll use the word unethical.

I have personal knowledge about how diligently one has to work to unearth recruiting news. Long hours, now and then a clever way to go about unearthing this or that morsel of information . . . and then, in an instant, poof! it appears elsewhere via someone pirating that information from a paid venue to a free venue.

The only thing I do is Like posts or retweets they are retweeting about their good weekends. They like seeing the Likes rack up, but if anybody actually things tweeting at them directly is helping our chances, you're crazy
