To those coming to this thread for actual Harris news and had to read this stuff, I apologize. Just felt like I needed to defend myself. The faster we move on from this the better.

Memphis 247 writer had good things to say about ISU today. Won't post exactly what cuz it was VIP, but it was encouraging.

I didn't put anything out there. PrepHoopsTN did. They are the ones who tweeted it. All I did was tweet and ask, "Tyler Harris is hopeful for a Florida offer?" The value was I was curious if that was like his dream offer or something. I value some of my followers opinions so I wanted to see what others thought about that Florida comment. (which apparently isn't true.)

It was a very simple tweet. It was me asking (my followers) if that comment was true because I was in Canada for a week with no Internet so I thought maybe I missed some news.) You guys are acting as if I directly Tweeted something bad at Harris.

Calm down man, I don't think anyone is blaming you here. IMO, the fact that he saw your tweet and repubed it to set the record straight is a really good sign.

Way up there
So what I'm getting from the tweet drama is that he didn't say he was hoping for a Florida offer? Is that what he referred to in his tweet? If so, thanks Cade for clearing that up. All you did was quote something that was posted about him, if he denied it, he should have beef with the person who claimed he wanted that offer.

Just mostly wonder what value there was to your tweet. IMO there was none.

These guys do watch Twitter closely. They're at the first time in their lives people are really paying attention to them. I work with these kids at camps and can assure you that putting **** out there like this pisses them off.
What value does this post have? I don't see any.

What info could you possibly get that would be with paying 10 a month for? That's a ripoff
Honestly I disagree, I use to feel this way but since having a 247 account my opinion has changed. Alex Halsted does an amazing job with getting info and writing articles for both football and basketball. You also from time to time get national recruiting journalists that will post on the board too that gives you a perspective from a non Iowa State fan to show how a recruiting battle is going down.

Also a huge plus is there are no Iowa trolls. Also there are a lot less huge freakout.

I hope to God that 99.5% of the decision is playing style, coach, good fit, location, tradition, playing time, and education. The 0.5% is probably from annoying fans.
