Even my 60 some year old dad who is a total fuddy duddy when it comes to new things liked the greys. He liked them more than I did.

That does seem "outside the zone" from a typical fan age demographic. Did he say why the gray has appeal?

He just said that they looked B A. Thought they looked sharp, but that they needed white or grey lids. He's a retired High School coach so it's fun to talk to him about how things are and were.

The grey that looks lighter on Lazard's promotion works better but it looked a lot darker last fall

Beats the hell out of "Bucky" Cy, IMO.

Still looks like Mr. Bucky, whom we all love so much! But good attempt, getting closer to the beloved (by some of us, YMMV)' Walking Cy'.
I've heard present coaching staff doesn't understand the whole 'Bird' thing, history behind it, etc. So going to something else entirely might be in order, I don't know.

Old, Ol' school Cy is what I'd like to see. Still cracks me up thinking about Johnny Orr and the angry chicken comment! The roided CY should never be used, not totally against the bird in the blender look, but just like the older looks. Just my two cents.

I'm not into uniform speculation, so, other than the OP, is there anything in this thread of real ISU uniforms?

If it's all speculation and fan renderings, I'm good with that, I just don't care to sort through 40 pages of speculation if there isn't any concrete evidence of what ISU/Campbell are really planning to do.

its the same grey uni except in this pic there is no red in the number. i can't imagine we'd use uniform dollars on a *ever so slightly different* grey uniform. me thinks it's a photoshop oversight.
