I'm thinking a tractor logo on the helmet specifically for use when ISU enters the Case I-H Red Zone. They could have a TV timeout and switch helmets. Could probably get Case I-H to pay for them.

How 'bout doing an entire uniform-swap? It would require an extensive TV timeout, so it's probably unrealistic.

I've heard present coaching staff doesn't understand the whole 'Bird' thing, history behind it, etc. So going to something else entirely might be in order, I don't know.

It's a blend of the of the old school angry Cy that so many love and the whirlybird Cy that the rest of us also love, and it makes one fantastic logo - much better than any of the Cy logs currently used.

You're right. I of course did see the similarity to the old walking cy , but hadn't seen it before until now. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

I saw the "The Basketball Tournament" Hilton Legends logo and like what they did with the tornado. Something like that on the helmet would be fresh. Also, I really like the thought of having a tornado wrapping around the thigh. Even could have the top of it be the NIKE logo and maybe get some more cash out of them.

I drew that logo when I was 7 or 8 and my Uncle got McCarney and Troy Davis to sign it. He also got me a replica 28 jersey with Darrens signature as well. My two and only pieces of ISU swag.

This updated walking cy is very good. I don't know if we will be seeing new alternate logos or not, but I wouldn't mind seeing this on the helmets from time to time. As mentioned earlier, CMC/Toledo has used many different logos on their helmets in past. I guess it would be up to the Coach and the AD together.

I think Louisville's cardinal looks more like Herky to me. There's is tacky. Our's is distinguished.
