Yes, especially the last point. The University's statement is angry
When they said "takes issue with the allegations and looks forward to responding in full" leads me to believe that they won't be settling and they are confident they can win.

Reputation is on the line, should be ******.
With Bill and Jamie both "under attack", I would have expected nothing less.
I don't think it reads aggressively. I think it reads in a way that nothing stated can be misconstrued and or disputed.
Based on the filed lawsuit, she believes it was racially motivated. Her belief does not make it fact for everyone else.
This is why these suits go through courts...evidence, proof, witnesses carry a lot more weight than one person's complaints, justified or otherwise.
I don't mean that in a bad way. It reads like ISU knows they hold the cards. Whether they do remains to be seen, but they came out strong and direct as Rabbuk implies.
Anybody know the background on the attorney that filed?
The way I read that was more of a problem with the way he coached. Not necessarily a singling out issue but a issue of how he coaches as a whole. Can't link, but it will be interesting to see what, if anything, Brynn publicly states about the matter.

I read the fact the EO office already investigated and didn't find evidence to support the allegations significant. EO office don't just roll over and ask the administration to scratch their tummies. At least my employees (fed) EEO office in DoD never does.
Given that he's been the coach for 20 years, wouldn't something have come out before now if these allegations are true?

Mouth of the Midwest and Miller interviewed her (of course). To me, she sounded like she thinks she is "The Goodwife" (a terrible tv show in my opinion)Anybody know the background on the attorney that filed?
